Terms of Use

Answered is operated by Money Tree Investors LLC. By using the app you agree to what follows. It is written plainly on purpose.

What Answered is

A private app for small prayer groups. You join a group with a code from someone already in it. There is no public feed, no discovery, and no way for strangers to find you.

It is not a counselling service, a medical service, or a crisis line. If you or someone in your group is in danger, call emergency services.

Your account

You need a working phone number to sign in, and you must be 13 or older. You are responsible for what is done through your account, so keep your phone to yourself.

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, on the You tab. What that does and does not remove is set out on the account deletion page.

What you post

What you write, record and share stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of your groups, which is the only way the app can work. We do not sell it, use it to advertise to anyone, or show it outside your groups.

Don't post anything unlawful, abusive, or that isn't yours to share. A prayer group runs on confidence: what another member tells you in a group is theirs, not material to pass on.

Moderation

Any member can report a message from inside the app, and can block another member so their posts stop appearing. A group's administrator can remove someone from the group.

We can suspend or remove an account that is being used to abuse people. We would rather the group handle it, because the group knows the people involved — but the ability is there.

What we don't promise

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your group's history safe, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable or never lose data, and we don't accept liability for losses arising from using it. Keep anything you could not bear to lose somewhere else as well.

Some parts rely on other companies — Google for storage and sign-in, Anthropic for writing out voice notes and summarising prayers, LiveKit for calls. They are listed in the privacy policy.

Scripture

Bible text is the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. Where the New International Version is quoted it is used within the non-commercial allowance granted by Biblica.

Changes and ending

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them and anything significant will be said in the app. You can stop using Answered whenever you like by deleting your account.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
